Thanks Allan, we'll let you know which ones he would like those for, he was okay with most of the ones tonight, although Kumiko had only printed him the first page of Bond which was a problem... :)
Don't forget everyone Belvoir Big Bistro 7.30 Saturday, see my email for your ingredients list, or let me know if you need it sending again and see you all there. Have a safe week.
The trombone, keys and bass are certainly an interesting combo! We had Kumiko singing Beyond the Sea just now as well, so we've had the whole house going!
I think that's a good simple rock piece for us to learn, like At The Hop. It needs to be perfect, but it's not too tricky, so once we have it mastered I think it will be a good concert number.
Evening all, I hope everyone is well. Hello from me, Yumiko and also Kumiko's boyfriend Mark who is staying with us for the summer and is playing along on bass with some of the pieces tonight. You can let him know what to watch out for when I call the pieces Allan! :)
Night everyone.

I can email over my tab charts for the more complicated ones Jonathon, I have no idea how to describe Trombonology or Splanky :-D
Goodnight 😎🧐

Chris how about one more song? Can we finish with Can't Take My Eyes Off You at 8.24? Has Carol got any wine left?
Okay, next up let's try Wipeout at 8.17 please
Una poca de grazia
If you know Twist and Shout drop it a whole tone :-)
C F G, there's a pattern that goes from root to thirds to fifth but tricky to notate online.

Can we do La Bamba next at 7.10 please, keep the pulse beating for everyone
The trombone, keys and bass are certainly an interesting combo! We had Kumiko singing Beyond the Sea just now as well, so we've had the whole house going!

Just catching up with you all - we are here 😁😊

Brilliant, thanks everyone - thanks Allan - again that meant more to Mark than me!
We'll leave the new ones there for this week and try some more next time. Can we look at Bond please at 7.53.
44-22-44-13 groove off E flat, then G at 'it's far' break, then B flat at 'i know' watch out for drop to D flat after the middle fanfare.
I am now covered in wine
Both, its most interesting
Is she singing along? Or just lying back with a glass of wine whilst you serenade her? :)
Yea!
OK ready for that, Carol is getting full vocal tonight
Let put a smile on Liz's face now please, hope you're happy to do another song Chris, Beyond The Sea please at 7.46
I agree
sounding good, nice to some rock and roll
I think that's a good simple rock piece for us to learn, like At The Hop. It needs to be perfect, but it's not too tricky, so once we have it mastered I think it will be a good concert number.
woo woo Johnney B Goode
Hit it
Here we go!
No idea what you're talking about Allan, but Marks nodding his head :)
OK lets rock
Another 12bar blues rocker starts in F with straight eighth roots, then boogies second time, repeats the intro then a key change to B.
Carol enjoyed my singing
Glad you like that one - it's a simple arrangement which sounds a bit basic as an instrumental, but I think it could really come to life as a vocal
Johnney B goode, I love it
I am still shaking
sounds really good folks
Were you suitably shaking, Chris?
How did we find that one? Can we try Johnny B Goode next at 7.37
OK when you are ready, here we go
Are we all set for a bit of Hippy Hippy Shake then? You onboard Paperchase? Lead the way Chris...
Mark says thanks Allan! :)
yes lets give it a try, Hippy Hippy Shake
evening everybody
A 12bar blues rocker in F, works well at the 8th fret.
I want to try this one again with Chris singing along - although for the time being only Chris will be able to tell us if that works!!
Hope everyone got the new list of pieces I have added to the playlist - can we start with Hippy Hippy Shake at 7.30 please
Evening all
