The two bars before C should be as follows: Minim rest, minim, dotted crotchet, quaver tied to minim

Well that's one to puzzle over for next week then... answers on a postcard

The score is written across the band minim quaver tied minim.

Presumably it should be dotted crotchet, quaver with a tied minim, just going to have a listen to the track and see if I can spot it.

Although by doing it this way you'll all be very familiar with the Dorsey version when we meet up again, so I'm making a rod for my own back really!!

And the shutdown has given me time to get the solo part up to speed if nothing else!

Tromboneology is very fast, but we'll work on it over time. When we go back live again we'll focus on Alan's solo with Truly first, then introduce TB probably 6 months after that, but I want to give it time to 'mature' in the pads. I think it will need it!!

Let's try the Rhumba first at 7.55 please

Yeah, I don't know how our version compares to the original one, it's a different arrangement, but feel free to simplify where necessary.

Rhumba works well, Trombonology has some crazy jazz bass lines but I suspect it can be simplified somewhat.

WWe did them with CChris last week. Trombonology was way over my head but I liked the other one
