By all means slow it down to work on, but it needs to be that speed to perform it, because if you make it 4/4 it just kills your lip. As I said earlier, it's a long term project, don't worry.
Tromboneology is very fast, but we'll work on it over time. When we go back live again we'll focus on Alan's solo with Truly first, then introduce TB probably 6 months after that, but I want to give it time to 'mature' in the pads. I think it will need it!!
Cheers David, goodnight
OK. See you next week
I'll email the band as it's the same across the score. If you spot any other 'creative differences' let me know!
Looks like everyone's got the same issue a bar before C.
The score is written across the band minim quaver tied minim.
Presumably it should be dotted crotchet, quaver with a tied minim, just going to have a listen to the track and see if I can spot it.
Nite all 😎🧐
bye all
ok
Thanks Jon, goodnight everyone have a good week - David and Neil if you hang around a few minutes after the next piece I'll check the score too
I think it's straight on the beat, delete the extra quaver
I have 4.5 beats in the bar before C in Trombology...? minim, quaver-tied-minim?
Make that A Train at 8.15 :)
Okay, what's next, Neil pick one from the list for me :)
Ooh, that's a killer at the end.

Yeah please post a 3/4 time version Jonathan...
Okay, here we go with TB everyone. Good luck and I'll see you on the other side!
We're trying Tromboneology in a minute in case you missed that
Yeah not too bad.
I do like that one, it's nice and light, and it's great to have a key change at the end that makes the piece easier instead of harder!!
Okay, shall we try Tromboneology at 8.05...
Thanks Liz :)
Although by doing it this way you'll all be very familiar with the Dorsey version when we meet up again, so I'm making a rod for my own back really!!
And the shutdown has given me time to get the solo part up to speed if nothing else!

Yeah, I don't know how our version compares to the original one, it's a different arrangement, but feel free to simplify where necessary.
Rhumba works well, Trombonology has some crazy jazz bass lines but I suspect it can be simplified somewhat.
Can we look at the 2 new pieces next, has anyone looked at them yet? Do we like them?
Hello everyone! Just got boys in tent... one in bed, one watching star wars on laptop...!
Not Basiildon Bond, then, Paperchase?
Nice personalised number plate
I was thinking of this Bond

Good ole Paperchase, played like a demon last week :-)

What happened to the other chap we had last week, with the funny name...
Wow, Liz has joined the Contras :-0
yes ok can’t spell
Sounds good Liz, I like the fact you make a point of saying 'and without an MD', maybe that's why it works so well!
Have you been told how long you can work from home Allan?
Evening Derek, hope you're okay
