Music festival at the Vintage & Classic Car Nights, Melton Mowbray
The Belvoir Big Band appeared yesterday evening at the Melton Music Festival and
there was a good sized audience.
The rain held off during the band’s 2 x 45 minute sets which finished at 10pm. Despite the
cool evening and very occasional rain the audience warmed to the various music and
particularly to the second set which contained some powerful numbers and a good selection
of Latin & rock n roll tunes for the enthusiastic dancers to enjoy.
It was a great night for the band and the audience was very supportive.
The band hope to make future appearances at similar gigs and are appearing on 9th
July at the Rempstone Steam and Country Show. Future events include August bank holiday weekend when we appear at ‘GlastonBishop’ music festival and the day
after at Old Dalby Day.
